La Llorona, a love story

image" alt="La Llorona, a love story" />

In this modern retelling of the conquest of Mexico, an American executive is assigned by his company to open an American fast food restaurant - for Mexican food - in Mexico.  He and his wife, a college professor, relocate to Mexico City and move into the home of a Mexican architect forced to rent his family’s centuries-old mansion to make ends meet and support his own young family.  The house is visited by La Llorona, a spirit, who sings her song of sadness in hopes of rescuing the two couples from danger.

Written by Kathleen Anderson Culebro and directed by Tlaloc Rivas, La Llorona, a love story plays in Fort Worth for three weeks beginning on Thursday, March 4, 2010 and continuing through Sunday, March 21, 2010.  Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night shows begin at 8:00 PM, and Sunday matinees begin at 2:00 PM.  Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $10 for students.
