Amphibian Stage Productions

Amphibian Stage Productions’ mission is to produce innovative and engaging works of theatre that challenge the way we see the world around us.  Dedicated to promoting creative collaborations and networking, Amphibian links its company members living in Fort Worth, New York City, Chicago and Los Angeles, in order to present readings and fully-staged productions in Fort Worth and New York City.

Artes De La Rosa

Artes de la Rosa is dedicated to preserving, promoting, and interpreting the art, culture, lives, and history of the Latino community by establishing a venue for Latino art and cultural performances and offering educational art/culture programs to the community including youth in low-income neighborhoods. We serve as the central support organization and resource center for Latino art and culture in the City of Fort Worth.

Artisan Center Theater

Celebrating 20 years, Artisan Center Theater strives to provide hope, joy and optimism in the performing arts for actors and patrons alike. Our intimate 200-seat theater-in-the-round MainStage and 150-seat SecondStage welcomes visitors and actors alike. The Artisan Film Productions division is now training youth of all ages to perform on stage and on camera. Performance, film, behind the scenes work, and volunteerism - as well as education in all aspects of the performing arts - can be found in abundance at Artisan.

Arts Fifth Avenue

A5A is an alternative arts organization where we encourage all people to discover, experience, and express themselves through the arts. Our mission is to provide a forum of expression for dancers, choreographers, musicians, composers, and visual and performing artists; and to stimulate, develop, and preserve interest in tap dance and jazz music, and to educate the public, particularly youth, about these uniquely American arts forms.

Casa Mañana

Casa Mañana produces plays and musical in its iconic geodesic dome theatre on the near west side in the Cultural District. By combining the talent of award-winning directors, choreographers and musicians with professional actors from the local area and the Broadway stage, Casa Mañana’s self-produced shows are among the best in the nation.

Circle Theatre

Circle Theatre presents a year-round season of musicals, comedies, and dramas to adult theatre patrons in North Texas. The Theatre has been listed on every critic’s top ten lists throughout the years. Circle focuses on new plays and encourages emerging directors, designers and actors, by offering them an opportunity to show their work.

Formerly

The Fort Worth Community Arts Center is home to two theatres: The Hardy and Betty Sanders Theatre, a black box theatre space that seats approximately 120; and  ​The William Edrington Scott Theatre, a  468-seat theatre with a thrust stage. In addition to offering theatre space, the Arts Center began its own production company, The Arts Center Presents, in 2019. It produced critically acclaimed productions in its inaugural year, and plans to build a season of unique programs for the future.

Hip Pocket Theatre

An experimental theatre ensemble rooted deep in the heart of Texas, committed to widening the vision and scope of theatre. Performances are presented in an outdoor space canopied by the moon and stars. Refreshments and live music available before and after performances. The season runs June through October.

Jubilee Theatre

Founded by Rudy and Marian Eastman in Fort Worth, Texas on June 19, 1981, Jubilee Theatre is the original home of African-American theater in North Texas.  Its mission is to create and produce theatrical works that give voice to the African-American experience, including promoting and presenting  new works with a focus on both musicals and plays, and finding and presenting the universal message in each work to attract and involve a diverse and multicultural audience.

Kids Who Care is a non-profit international theatre company based in Fort Worth, Texas that seeks to produce confident, caring and creative kids through leadership training, musical theatre education and performance.

Kids Who Care offers musical theatre classes, summer musical theatre camps, international cultural exchanges, a touring Resident Company, public performances and more. 

Stage West

Stage West is a professional theatre company operating under agreement with the Actors’ Equity Association, a professional union of theatrical actors and stage managers in the United States. Stage West nurtures the artistic growth of area actors, directors, designers, playwrights and musicians. Their goal is to continue to broaden and intensify the theatrical experience for their patrons, with consistently excellent acting, directing and plays.

The Stolen Shakespeare Guild's mission is to make outstanding classical theater available to everyone in the Fort Worth and Dallas communities. Through affordable and diverse programming, SSG embraces the timeless masterpieces of William Shakespeare, the works from which he drew his inspiration, and plays that have been influenced by the Immortal Bard himself.

Since its founding in 1873, Texas Christian University has embraced performances in the fine arts as essential to studies in the liberal arts. In the earlier years, play performances were extra-curricular activities, not courses of study, presented by students group such as the Dramatic Club. Now, TCU has one of the finest theatre programs in the country, with a long history of great theatre productions and successful theatre training for hundreds of successful TCU alumni. Come see them in action!

Texas Nonprofit Theatres was formed in 1971 to encourage programmatic and managerial excellence in the nonprofit community and professional theatres of Texas. Our mission is to support and serve the theatre community of Texas. Programs include Biennial QuadFests, TexFest, Fort Worth Fringe Fest, the annual Youth Conference and more.

For over 40 years, Theatre Arlington, located in the heart of Arlington, Texas, has provided the community with high-quality, award-winning theatrical productions, while running a year-round theatre school and outreach programs for at risk youth

TOTS is Parker County’s ONLY regularly scheduled live theatre venue. Productions require a team effort, which includes the casts and production crews, the front of house volunteers, and our Board of Directors.  We're committed to making sure we fulfill the mission of our theatre: to entertain our patrons with quality productions, educate our public about live theatre, and nurture theatrical talent through inclusivity, collaboration, and a strong partnership with our community.

Theatre Wesleyan, the producing arm of the theatre department of Fort Worth's Texas Wesleyan University, is one of the longest-running theatres in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, celebrating more than sixty years of production. The department's goal is to provide unlimited opportunity and individual attention to students interested in pursuing a career in the theatre. with specialized degrees in acting, musical theatre, design and technology, and general studies.  Students participate in productions of plays and musicals which are open to the public.

The mission of the Department of Theatre Arts & Dance is to provide a comprehensive undergraduate education through theory, practice, and research. The objective of the department is to provide an extensive and wide-ranging education in the theatrical and dance professions through applied and practical experiences acquired through performance and production. These productions are open to the public, providing a hands on experience with real world application and response from general audiences.
